No ticket is required to attend Yoga on the Plaza. Instead, attendees are encouraged to make a donation to Compass Huntington, a program supporting members of the Huntington Fire Department and Huntington Police Department.
Compass Huntington provides local first responders with tools to process and effectively handle the stress they face each day of their professional lives. Through the program, first responders have access to resources designed to support their mental and emotional well-being as they navigate the unique challenges of their professions.
More Than Yoga
Yoga on the Plaza will offer attendees an opportunity to enjoy the event before and after class, with a variety of local vendors on site. Guests can browse, shop and connect with participating businesses, including The Naked Stem, a local fresh flower bouquet company, with additional vendors to be announced.
The event is designed to be a relaxed, community-focused evening where attendees can take time for themselves while supporting a meaningful cause.
The yoga class will begin at 5 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat, although a limited number of mats will be available on site for those who need one.
Instructors: Jamie Saber and Rachel Pennington
The instructors will guide participants through a welcoming class designed to be accessible to a range of experience levels. Whether attendees are longtime yoga practitioners or trying yoga for the first time, everyone is invited to participate.
